Wendy Gorman - Owner, Lead Designer,

I began designing beautiful picture frame creations in 1989, while
earning my B.A. in Art at Cal State Fullerton with an emphasis in
drawing and oil painting. Framing should enhance an artwork, not
draw away from it. This is my passion! I enjoy working closely
with clients to create a finished piece that compliments the art and
will be enjoyed in the home or office for years to come.
I started my career early on at one of those well known Big Stores
while I was attending college. After earning my degree, I ventured
down to Laguna Beach and worked as a Gallery Director for a few
years. That was a wonderful experience as I was able to work
directly with fine artists and further my knowledge of museum
quality framing. I then moved on to the wholesale side of the
industry as an art and moulding buyer where we primarily worked
with model home clients and interior designers. This brought me
full circle with all areas of custom picture framing and a desire to
operate my own business.
As you can see, I really love this industry and offer years of

framing. I was hooked pretty early on. Just like Wendy, I began
with one of those big stores and figured out pretty quickly that I
love this business.
I am a tinkerer, probably not a word, but why not! Wendy expects
me to figure out and engineer any crazy idea she comes up with.
Do know how hard that is? She's had so many creative thoughts
and then she just expects me to figure it out! To quote Geddy Lee
from the famous rock band of the 70's - Rush
"I think I'm going bald!"
Well, not really and it's really a lot of fun to try and figure things
out. Mostly, I help where I can and I love to design coming from
a marketing and drafting background. The beauty of this business
is that you get to design something beautiful and then build it! It
is quite fulfilling when you like to work with your hands!
